Our Story
MM Podiatry — for clinicians who want to take their patients from first presentation to full recovery.
An integrated lower limb MSK system built to give busy clinicians a simple, effective way to take patients from injury back to activity.
What is MM Podiatry?
MM Podiatry is an integrated lower limb MSK system connecting clinician-led orthotic manufacture, digital rehabilitation through RehabHub 3D, and structured return to activity through partners WalkActive and Streek.
Founded and run by a practising lower limb MSK podiatrist with twelve years of clinical experience across NHS and private practice, the MM Podiatry system is designed to take patients the full distance from first presentation to full, durable return to their specific activity — work, sport, or daily life.
Why Was MM Podiatry Created?
To solve the prescribe-and-forget cycle, where an orthotic is prescribed and care ends there, leaving patients load-dependent and clinicians unable to take them further.
The tools to do better already existed. Load management was well-evidenced. Progressive rehabilitation was established. Structured return to activity was a known, effective approach. What did not exist was a connected system that made all three available to a clinician in a busy practice.
In 2024, after years of frustration with the consistency and communication of external labs, MM Podiatry’s founder Mark McKeever invested in 3D printing technology and began manufacturing for colleagues.
From there, the system took shape: partnerships with RehabHub 3D to connect orthotic prescribing with structured digital rehabilitation, and with WalkActive and Streek to provide structured return-to-activity pathways.
What started as a manufacturing decision became an integrated lower limb MSK system.
“I set up MM Podiatry to give busy clinicians a simple, effective, evidence-informed way to guide their patients from injury back to activity.” – Mark McKeever, Founder of MM Podiatry
What Makes MM Podiatry Different From a Standard Orthotic Provider?
No other orthotic services in the UK connect device manufacture directly to digital rehabilitation and structured return to activity as an effective, evidence-informed system.
Orthotics, rehabilitation, and structured return to activity all existed already. The evidence behind each is well established. What has not existed — until now — is a single system that connects them, with the clinical support to deliver them in a busy practice.
The relationship with MM Podiatry does not end at dispatch. Clinical support, workmanship guarantees, and automatic follow-up reminders are built into the offer from the first order.
Clinician FAQs
More questions clinicians ask about MM Podiatry…
Who is the clinician behind MM Podiatry?
MM Podiatry is founded and run by Mark McKeever, a practising lower limb MSK podiatrist with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry, an MSc in Lower Limb Musculoskeletal Studies, and more than a decade of clinical experience across NHS adult and paediatric podiatry, paediatric rheumatology, and private MSK practice. He prescribes the orthotics he manufactures and uses them himself. Head to Meet Mark to find out more about the clinician behind the system.
Is the MM Podiatry system supported by evidence?
Each part of the system (orthotics, rehabilitation, return to activity pathways) is evidence-informed. The specific combination has not been tested in a controlled trial, but each failure point it addresses is individually evidenced.
Is MM Podiatry only for podiatrists?
No. The system is designed for any lower limb MSK clinician — podiatrists, MSK physiotherapists, and GPs with extended MSK roles. The prescribe-by-pathology and prescribe-by-device-type routes make it accessible to clinicians at every stage of prescribing confidence.
